What is Life Coaching?

Welcome to Life Coaching & Training.

I offer:
  • 1-2-1 coaching to individuals to help you to & reach your personal & career goals &
  • skills coaching in assertiveness, confidence-building, interpersonal skills & relationship difficulties, interviews, presentations & public speaking, time management & writing skills, including CVs.

So what is life coaching, how can you benefit, what topics do my clients bring to coaching and what do they say about it? I see coaching as a partnership between coach and individual in a safe, supportive environment of trust & honesty. You may choose to bring one immediate topic, such as career change or stress, or you may want to look broadly at your life, personally or professionally.
Curriculum Vitae, Interviews & Career
If you want to change your job or career and apply for a post or promotion, coaching will help you to identify your skills, talents and motivations. When you apply for a course or job, you will want to:
submit an impressive written application shine at interview and impress with your presentation
Coaching helps you to gain the edge over other candidates.
I am able to take you through the complete process: to help you identify your career goals, prepare a CV, apply for a post (form and covering letter), prepare for interview and practice, and design and deliver a presentation if required. You may want to develop your verbal and written communication skills, self-esteem and confident self-presentation.
Whether you are:
- A student starting out - Midway in your career - Feeling you don’t do justice to yourself at interview - Stuck and wanting a change, or - A high achiever thinking of the next step
Coaching can help you make those all-important decisions about course and career and enhance your prospects of successful application for a university place or the job of your choice.
